Welcome to Inner Spark Counselling & Psychotherapy. I’m a Registered Psychotherapist offering therapy in Etobicoke (Toronto) and virtual counselling across Ontario for individuals, couples, and families seeking support, healing, and meaningful change.

Life can ask us to carry a lot. Sometimes it is anxiety, trauma, relationship pain, grief, family expectations, cultural pressures, or simply the quiet weight of always having to hold everything together. Over time, these experiences can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves, exhausted, or unsure of how to move forward.

I believe every person carries an inner spark of strength, worth, and resilience. At times, that spark can feel dimmed by life experiences, survival patterns, or responsibilities that never seemed to end. Therapy can be a space to reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been buried beneath overwhelm.

With over six years of experience in the mental health field, I have supported individuals, couples, and families through crisis, trauma, suicide intervention, emotional distress, and life transitions. My work is grounded in compassion, cultural awareness, and the belief that healing does not need to happen in isolation.

My academic background includes a double major in Health Studies and Gerontology from McMaster University and a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, and trained in Solution-Focused approaches through Distress Centres of Greater Toronto.

As a South Asian woman, my lived experience shapes the way I understand identity, belonging, intergenerational dynamics, and the silent pressures many people carry. I know that healing can sometimes mean learning to honour yourself while still holding love for where you came from.

Therapy is not only for when things feel unbearable. It can also be a space for growth, clarity, boundaries, self-understanding, healthier relationships, and becoming gentler with yourself. You do not need to have everything figured out before asking for support.

Working with me means having a warm, genuine, and non-judgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are. Together, we’ll explore what feels heavy, what keeps repeating, and what healing could look like for you.

Sometimes therapy begins not because everything is falling apart, but because something inside you knows you deserve more.
